How It All Began
Our Story, Our Mission & How It All Began
Reach Church is a vibrant, multi-ethnic church passionate about bringing the life-transforming love of Jesus Christ to our city, nation and the world.
Pioneered as New Life Church Parramatta in 1991 by Pastors Gary and Joyce Dench, God gathered a community of believers from many nations to worship together in a community hall in Wentworthville, Sydney.
2014 Transition of Leadership
In 2012, the church purchased a place to call home in North Parramatta, and in 2014, Gary and Joyce Dench retired and transitioned the leadership of the church community to Pastors Graeme and Mandy Fitzgerald.
Reach Church is called to make disciples of all nations, and to release for the ministry, believers who love Jesus and are committed to reaching people and changing nations. In obedience to the call in 2019, a team from Parramatta were sent to plant Reach Church Riverstone in North-West Sydney.
2024 Transition of leadership
On the 11th of August 2024, Pastors Fredy and Lindani took over the Senior Leadership role at Reach Church Parramatta and Riverstone after our beloved Pastor Graeme went to be with the Lord.
Pastor Fredy and Lindani’s heart is to continue the legacy of spiritual growth and community engagement. Their ministry is deeply rooted in evangelism, missions and corporate prayer, emphasizing the importance of nurturing all generations. Their lifelong goal remains clear: to restore a culture of honor in today’s diverse world through Spirit-anointed Biblical teaching, transforming communities with love, respect, and Biblical values. Through their leadership, they will inspire others to actively participate in the flourishing of Reach Church and beyond.
